My stick handling isn't bad, it's my shooting that needs work. I can't seem to get enough power on it, it's those dinky little passes that get picked off all the time.

How would you improve shooting skills then? I use a turco-style.

I dont use turco style, and i dont grip the stick with the glove either, i just place it behind the stick, and use my blocker hand more.

Shoot pucks until you're sore.

Try to use ur stick as a lever, put alot of ur body weight on it and then jus snap ur blocker hand back and use ur glove as a fulcrum. I've found that most of the time if the puck isn't touching my blade it has more zip on it, like it touches it but it doesn't start on my stick.

I'll try that out the next chance I get. Thanks BISH

no prob Wink

i jus read this massive article today in my GoalieNews on puck handling too, but it was more along the lines of tactics when players have off-net dumps, on-net dumps, and rims
