Roy, Brodeur, Luongo, Khabibulin...Did he really dominate better than all of these guys? |
Of course not, those 3 are in a class of their own.
Khabibulin might be more on a level with Kolzig. One level down, with poopy performances in between bouts of greatness.
I don't think Roy was as whiny as people make him out to be. He was just way too full of himself; but with the kind of numbers he put up, I'm sure many would be that way too. Hasek is whiny, he'll get bumped and fall on the ice like he got shot, then complain to the ref about it.
And the inflation is usually 2-3 inches, 20-30 pounds.
I have met Paul Kariya, Teemu Selanne, JS Giguere, and Ilya Bryzgalov and they are all about 2-3 inches shorter, look to be about 20-30 lbs lighter in real life although weight is tough to judge when someone has their street clothes on. |

I recently met Vincent Lecavalier , and Steve Stamkos.. WAY overstated on their sizing. I'm 6'4" and Vinny was like at least 2-3 inches shorter and thin as hell. Stamkos looked 5'8 at max and maybe 160lbs. I was almost laughing. |

so all those goalies listed over 6' aren't really over 6'... interesting... sounds to me like they're "shorter"... and in the NHL... go short genes! _________________ Because it hurts so good.

so back on the topic of gym, and specifically me being weak... started working out again... 11 pushups. Oh yeah, feel the burn.
Also, started doing yoga. Possibly the hardest thing I've ever done. It really exposes how right side dominant I am. The balance and strength positions, I'm... ok at on my right side, maybe hold for 15-20 seconds... left side.. 5 to 10 and I'm falling over. I highly recommend it to everyone. _________________ Because it hurts so good.

In terms of the yoga, does anybody else have the Wii fit? We bought it for our mom for Christmas, but the whole family uses it.
Do you guys think it helps at all? Specifically the yoga poses they have? I found my balance improving... but I don't think I've been doing it enough to notice myself becoming more flexible. |

| i heard that the wii fit was really bad for muscles if you used it wrong and you could strain something if you use it too much... just like youll feel your elbow go out if you use the regular wii remote too long |
