You need to do daily stretches. If you work out at all, it is a MUST that you stretch lightly before, and AFTER your workouts.
Be sure to to push yourself too much. You don't want to tear anything trying to stretch too far too fast. Also, go to youtube and check out the postings by "revolutioncondition". She has hockey and goalie specific training routines for all ability levels, and she is very good at making things easy to understand.
Most importantly, run. The more you move, the more naturally limber you will become.
