hey guys

i was wondering is it better to have loose straps on the top of your pads for a butterfly.
or
is it easier to get down in to one if it is tight ?

suggestions?

all depends on the pad and what you like.... alot of people like to have the straps up top pull so it forces the thighrise to kind of make a bend to block off the 5 hole.... or if you have a really wide butterfly you can let the straps loose...

I had them loose... But I tried to make them a bit tighter and it works for me maybe even a bit better than loose. My opinion is you can have both ways, it depends on your pads, just like burneeed said.

you want your straps loose but not too loose. It usually depends on the pad.

Yeah I was going to say it depends on the pads. I wear my top two straps on my ccms very loose. most of the attachment of my pads is on the skate straps and the lowest ankle strap. My pads rotate perfectly and sit nice and flat on the ice and the 5 hole closes up nicely that way as well

put at the end and it should work fine.
