So, with the NHL now over the All-Star break hump...and getting closer to playoffs. Who is going to bring the cup home this year and why do you think they're going to take the cup?

I just voted canadiens because they're my team. In polls, i HAVE to vote with my team
The sharks have come to close every year. This is their year to win it. _________________

| Well, I unfortunately don't really know the matchups, but I know that Detroit is always a strong contender as they're growing closer and closer to dynasty status. Seeing as I HATE the Red Wings, I did cast my vote for Montreal. Not the mod...the team. They're playing very strongly this year from the brief news I've read and they're the original dynasty. Winning more cups than any two teams put together has to count for something. |

I haven't...but I do know that the Hawks are doing good, except they seem to have two excellent...but hot/cold...goalies. I know Detroit, other then Conks, is struggling in the net too. With all the injuries they have, I'm really hoping they'll be out in the first round. My team, however, is firmly affixed in the second to last place. Way to go Avs...buy some frickin defense. |

Yeah, if they can get out of this little slump, get an impact player at the deadline, and a cycling D man. They should have a good chance. _________________

Personally, I'm pulling for the hawks, seeing as they are my hometown team. They are playing extremely well, but they need somebody to take out detroit first. Also I'm just gonna throw this out there, I think Dallas can turn around and be a good contender again. The sucked early in the season but are now in 5th place. _________________ Itech 12.8 X-wing pads/blockers/glove

Yeah I just saw them give up the potential game winner to the wild in the last minute or so. well.. they still have 22.6 seconds... so we'll see if a miracle can happen here. _________________ Itech X-Wing Pro C/A

no they just lost... oh well... hopefully they can figure something out before this season's over. I voted sharks because they've been playing strong... if they can keep going and nabby can keep playing at a high level then they have a great chance. _________________ Itech X-Wing Pro C/A

| Nabby is a pretty well rounded goalie, and even better in the playoffs. I haven't watched him lately but I know a couple years back he was solid. It'd be awesome if the Sharks take it...at any rate, I just want the Wings knocked out in round one! |

Never mind, they won’t win a cup for at least another 10 years. Maybe less, but not until they:
Trade Price for a goalie who can keep at least a 2.50 GGA. and a 9.00 SV%
get rid of O'Bryne, Boullion, usless.
Trade Markov for a Defense man.
Trade Kovalev for someone who can play consistently
through 82 games.
Get a real top 2 lines.
Get a franchise player.
Unless all that is fixed, nothing. Ever _________________

| You shouldn't be so negative Monty. The habs, although NOT my favorite team, are by far the best team in the history of the NHL. Every team goes through dry years....maybe even decades (look at the wings, bruins, hawks etc) but they come out. Loving your team regardless of stupidass things that happen or are done...that's what makes a true fan. I still love my second to last place Avs... |

I just voted for Boston because they're my team. But they do have a shot if they just keep doing what they're doing.
Hopefully they can make a trade for Fernandez |
