Not the sticks, the equipment. Does anyone here use it for their occasional turns out of the net?

Any chance you can give me a full review on them? Model type and such as well as how they feel?

They were the Franchises. ($200) They feel... i dont know how to explain it... but ill try my best. Tighter on the back of the hand and looser everywhere else. I didnt like the palm all that much, seems like it wouldnt hold up. These thins are LIGHT!!!! They do not have plastic inserts on the backhand/fingers/etc. etc. although the cheaper models do (LHS guy said it was because the had better foam so they didnt need it). They are made in Canada, so exceptional quality.

Let me start this over...

My boss recently asked me to pool some info on the Warrior Hockey Equipment with the prospect that we might start carrying it at our SportChek stores. So I'm trying to ask goalies (I don't know players) what they know about Warrior and how they'd feel about it being at SportChek...would you go to SportChek if they carried it?

Basically...my boss is using me to revamp the hockey end of our stores and I'm trying to find things that will draw more hockey players in...right now, like Itech said, most players won't go to SportChek if it's the only available store...I'd like to change that.

So, I need to know what I can find out about Warrior since it seems like bringing warrior into the stores would pull in some extra business.

IMO, SportChek pisses me off because of such limited section of goalie equipment, and a crapload of player's gear.

Well I don't have much control over the Ontario stores but if I get my way I plan on changing the store big time. Hopefully bring in a lot more customers and guess what?! You guys get to help!!

You should check out some other hockey forums. You'll probably get a bigger and better response.
Would you post a question in a player forum about goalie equipment experiences?

Side note on the SportChek thing... you know how I went in about 2 weeks ago for a skate sharpening (aka, the 1" that was really sharp... asshole). Well long story short, I waited an hour for a damn skate sharpening, so I wrote a complaint to their general website, and it ended up going through all the way to their store manager who called and left a message asking me to call back and work something out.

All I mention was I'd be happy with a 5$ coupon for the long a$$ wait. So I'm gonna call them back tomorrow and see what happens.

Don't know if you know this, but I don't really like players all that much...so odds of me posting anything in a players forum anywhere are slim to none. I have other resources available to me and if you just want to critique why I'm doing what I'm doing then I don't have to ask ANYONE. Rolling Eyes

It was not a critique. Just a suggestion.

Well, if you change your mind... Modsquadhockey.com would help out a lot, a lot of very knowlegable people there. Icewarehouse is somewhere else you could ask too.

I'm not asking because I need the advice from people who sell and know the equipment...if I wanted that, I'd ask the manufacturer. I'm looking for other people who I know that have experience with it. It does me no good to get research from them.
