I was just wondering whether anybody - besides me - likes the islanders? And what do you guys think about the trades, Garth Snow recently made?
By the way. They definitely should stay on Long Island. Islanders in Kansas City would suck. Though it would not still be the same name - they obviously would change - but just to give it a try: Kansas City Islanders... Ridiculous... But well. What do you guys think? |

| Sorry man but the Isles blow. I don't mind the team but their owner is completely nuts. They won't be good again until he sells the team or dies. Whichever comes first. Kinda like the Oakland Raiders. John Tavares is gonna help them to turn it around though |

| Not that I'm a fan of the Isles...but they do have a goalie I used to play with years and years ago. Joey MacDonald. |

| What are you talking about? It's the same Islanders! Just their alternate logo. |

I went to their official website and couldn't find it on there...just assumed the other logo was some farm team.
I'll be d***ed. We were both right. They don't have that logo anymore, they discontinued it in '97, but it WAS their alternate logo. |

| It's impossible to say "It's their logo." Implying ownership, to me it sounds like they disowned the logo in 97 because of public opinion. Perhaps it's more accurate to say it WAS their logo. |

Well, if you relate to retro logos yes. But i think, as Arth already said that this is something different. Somehow they don't seem to be proud for this and so i would agree with him that it was there logo. Anyways. Public opinion hasn't been the reason for their suffrage since '83.... Sad thing though... |
