On the back of Luongo. Shots were almost even, chances were almost even. Both goalies played excellent but in the end the D for the Canucks was much better and the goaltending was nearly flawless.

As much as i like the canucks, i still felt a little sorry for the blues when they were losing 2-0. Their first playoff birth in how many years?(if any). I hope they win at least one game in front of the fans.

since the 2004 lockout i think, and it was after 25 or 26 straight years of playoff hockey. just sick how consistent they were, but they're marching back with a vengeance. its not as long as teams like... say... the panthers.

They did pretty well considering they're a very young team, and not a whole lot of playoff experience. It wasn't a blow out game by any means, both teams had to work their butt off.

Okay, 1 completed and 2 more potentials (Boston and Detroit)

At least my second favorite team is doing something in these playoffs. Luongo was damn good this series. Hopefully he's as good next series.

Anybody notice how my username and favorite teams all seem to have something in common? canadian_man_44....Canadiens....Canucks. Not on purpose either as when I started watching hockey I was too young to know what patriotism actually was.

Slinky you're such an a** sometimes... Laughing

Anyways, I think if the Canucks can keep their current level of play up they definitely have potential to take the west. I know everyone is saying otherwise but I'm willing to bet Osgood will fold up soon and then the wings are screwed...Anaheim is probably going to take the series, but lacks the offense to go very far past first round...so, I'd have to say with the Sedins, Sundin, Luongo and the other great players for Vancouver, they definitely have the best team as a whole assuming Osgood folds up soon.
