the nucks aremy second favorite team. I loved the addition with Luongo, without him, i dought they would have made the second round.

I think they would failed the Playoffs without him...
In my opinion he deserve the Vezina Trophy. Brodeur played well this year, but Luongo was quite better..

Luongo was definately a better goalie in the playoffs, but, during the regular season his GAA was slightly behind Brodeurs. Also, Brodeur won one more game then him. The Vezina is awarded for regular season play. It's also voted on, which makes it into a popularity contest, IMO.

we'll get him next time, eh luongo. Brodeur just lost 1 of his good defence and some forwards, it wont be this easy next time, brodeur.

The Devils got worse, the Canucks got better. If they play up to their potential I can see Luongo getting to the 50 win mark next season.

Well Luongo doesn't matter because Corey Schneider(drated 11th overall) will replace him Wink

Yah, Canucks are the best!!!!!!!! Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil
Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

I was shocked that Luongo didn't get the Vezina. Luongo has amazing form and he's probably the most consistent in the league. I don't care if Brodeur had one more win, he doesn't have the same effect Luongo does. Luongo could change the direction of the game w/ one save. It's plain ridiculous that he didn't get the vezina. But I agree, he should definately get it next year. and when Luongo's had his time (which i hope won't be for a while Smile ) Cory Schneider will be a huge force in the league by then so canucks should be good to go for a while.

He also had a better GAA and a better SV% to go with that one more win. Luongo is amazing and yes he probably was one of the most consistent goalies in the league this past season, but, Brodeur has been possibly the most consistent goalie in the league over the past 13 seasons, posting a career GAA of 2.20 and a SV% of .913. The fact of the matter is, whether you like him or not, Brodeur is one of the best goalies to ever play the game. Luongo is good, but, it'll take a few more seasons like the last one to solidly place him in the same bracket as Brodeur.

You can argue all you want as long as you don't get insulting or vulgar. I don't mind a good argument. The only thing is, I do back mine up with facts and stats...........most of the time. Wink
