The ref called that "disallowed" goal by the bruins a legit goal. Did anyone else see him waving his arm at the puck calling it a goal? I sure did. If it wer'nt for Martian wanting a review, that goal would have stood. Other than that, it was a great officiated game. A great showing by Carey Price, and a good game by the habs. _________________

The Official did what he's supposed to do. He pointed into the net indicating that as he could tell someone put a legal shot into the net, and at first that's what it looked like to me. Can't fault the ref for that. At least they were good enough to go back and review that as well as the Thomas save to verify that the calls were correctly made. |

Not that this is really part of the conversation, but I have to say, the Habs have one of the best goal horns in the NHL. _________________

Let's be honest here....when the puck went into the net, all us Habs fans were groaning. It wasn't until the replay's that you could see it actually went under the lifted net. The coach was asking for a replay because he probably thought the net was off the moorings. Anyway, it was a good call by the coach and the instant replay guys got it right. _________________

Congrats to the Habs for finally coming in first
On a side note, I loved Edmonton's jerseys. |

Okay, finally got around to looking at the replays of the Montreal-Detroit game the other night.
A) What the hell was up with the blue jerseys? I had to do a double take to make sure I was watching the Habs game and not the Leafs... at least the "Where's Waldo?" jerseys were the right colours...
B) Laraque has got to be one of the dirtiest players ever. A high sticking on Helm where he didn't even come near the puck, and then the knee on knee with Kronwall? AND on the same play? You've gotta be kidding me. I'm so happy the league handed him a 5 game suspension... |

| They traded away Latendresse. I don't know what was going on with him this season. |
