We lost today, 2-0. Bullshit game, I'll post more about it when I get home from work later.
Let's just say... if I were to type how I'm feeling right now, it would look a little like this:

So I've got 2 shutouts in a row. Both games we've won 3-0 against the same team that gave us our only loss.
It was pretty sweet, it's like I found a hot streak. Not that I didn't play well before, but our team dominated every game. And now our #1 defenceman is out because she needed knee surgery, so I see a lot more shots.
Now keep in mind it's only girls houseleague, so nothing too exciting... but it's nice to finally have to face 15+ shots in a game I actually had one of the parents come in the dressing room after and tell me "You know, I think we all forget just how good you are because you never get any shots"
Made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Even though I didn't play spectacular... just made all the routine saves, kept my team in there when they needed it. Nice to be recognized though.
Oh, and I got my first penalty of the season tonight I was in paddle down beside my right post, and the girl stepped right in front of me as I was starting to get up, so I pulled my stick back and flat out tripped her. Obvious penalty so I didn't complain. Funniest thing was that their one girl (#19) knows how much I hate having her stand in front of me, so she constantly does it and my defence never move her, so I gave her a couple hard jabs in the back of the knees that had the ref screaming "WATCH THE STICK GOALIE"
And then finally with 5 minutes left in the game he calls me on it |

Won tonight 2-0, our team only had 6 players and me, and the other team only had 7 and their goalie, so we played 4 on 4.
Probably faced about 17-20 shots total, 2 breakaways. Made a couple nice toe saves, and my sister video taped the whole thing. Will post video later.
107 minute shutout streak |

Thanks Although it won't be 60 because our league sucks. Our games consist of 3 x 12 minute periods, although tonight we were running early so we played 2 x 10 then 1 x 15...
it was better last year when we had all 1.5 hour ice times, played 42 minute games. |

| That's creepy. Only the mite leagues play less then 15 minute periods. |

| We don't have mites here, but Tykes, Novice, Atoms play 2 x 15 minutes STRAIGHT time, and then 1 x 10 minutes stop time... so in the end, it probably evens out... but yeah, still sucks. |

We play two 18 minute periods and then the 3rd period we have a 20 minute one. _________________ http://www.youtube.com/user/JustVeejProductions

Okay, a quick update before I head off to my game - we won our last game 2-1, they scored with 1:59 left
shutout streak ended at 141 minutes. Not too bad |

So we tied 1-1 our first playoff game, already posted about it in RS.
I went to see the other two teams play tonight, Raymond and CT. Raymond (the team we tied) won 2-1, so we need to beat or tie CT to be in the finals. |

| Beat them. You'll do fine...keep your head straight and focus on enjoying the game. I'd tell you to focus on stopping the puck but I know you better than that...you'll get over involved in the thought and end up making more errors then anything useful. Just enjoy the game. |
