WEEKES TO MAKE FIRST START OF SEASON

Kevin will be starting tonight in place of Martin Brodeur, who has been ruled off with an injured left elbow, believed to have been obtained during Saturday's game against the Thrashers.

David played really good the whole game. He made some great saves and kep the Devils in the game. The two he let in were not soft goals by any means. Late in the game, his team just gave up and their structure became broken. He didn't have the support late in the game that he needed. You all know that there is only so much that a goalie can do to keep his team in the game. If they don't react to what you are doing, it gets frustrating.

Weekes looked good again. Made 25 saves and the Devils beat Tampa 4-3 in a shootout.

Besides Fatso the Devils are also playing without Rolston, Holik, Martin, and Greene. So Weekes is gonna have to be great to keep them in some games because they are pretty thin right now

Fatso? I hope you're not implying Brodeur.
