You can tell from my gear that I'm a proud Canadian. Also, I've got my flag tattoed on my arm.
BTW, we also play baseball, softball, soccer/football and football/football here in Canada. _________________

I grew up in Tennessee, before the predators we had a CHL team called the Nashville Ice flyers, Then the preds came and I fell in love with them, I have a hat signed by Mike Dunham, Tom Fitzgerald, Cliff Ronning, and Scott Walker, I have the orginal jerseys (back when the black one was Navy Blue), and tons of posters lol. Im more of a thrashers fan now because I live in Atlanta, but The Preds are my team too. The best Stanley Cup ever Preds vs thrashers _________________

Pittsburgh and Montreal are good, but both teams are fairly young, especially the Pens, so I see playoff experiance and leadership taking a big part in the Stanley Cup champs |

The Red Wings aren't going to make it through the second round, let alone into the Stanley Cup Finals. _________________

Honestly you people must all have some "Kill the Red Wings" fanclub or something. It is true that they.........................haven't made it past the Western Conference Final since 2002. Besides last year Lilya screwed everything up in the playoffs with that terrible turnover in overtime. But the Red Wings have the best home record of any team in the league and they have home ice advantage throughout. Not to forget they have the best goalie to ever set foot on the ice. I don't want to hear no Patick Roy garbage. He constantly played on a good defensive team while Hasek faced almost 40 shots a game in Buffalo. He's 43 so it's probably a good thing he is on such a good defensive team as Detroit.
To sum this up:
Detroit Sweeps Nashville |

Let's just sum up the last 5 seasons for the Wings. Even though most years they did have the best record in the league, they still didn't win the Cup in 4 of those 5 years.
06/07 50 wins - 19 losses 113 1st place lost in the 3rd round
05/06 58 wins - 16 losses 124 1st place lost in the 1st round
03/04 48 wins - 21 losses 109 1st place lost in the 2nd round
02/03 48 wins - 20 losses 110 3rd place lost in the 1st round
01/02 51 wins - 17 losses 116 1st place Won the Cup
To sum this up:
It's a new season and 16 teams have a chance to win it all. _________________

Thank you Cman.
Why yes, I am in a "Kill the Red Wings" fan club. Thanks for noticing.
Detroit will take the 1st round 4 games to 2.
Definately will NOT be a sweep. _________________
