Great goal by Tavares. Most players wouldn't even think to that, let alone be able to do it.
The Slovakian goalie made a really nice initial stop. He also has really nice pads |

I don't think it's THAT impressive, lol pretty lucky if u ask me, sure that's good hand-eye but that's it. I'm more impressed with the initial save by Janus that fs pointed out. _________________ Pads-Simmons 993. (995's are on the way)

Yeah, but imagine making a great stop like that, then getting scored on with something like that shot.
I'm more impressed that he even thought to do that and could do that with a Slovakian defender charging at him. |

how do you even think to do that? forget execution. who sees the puck and says "i need to hit it up and backwards to get it in front of the goal, and then bat it out of the air... done. no problem." _________________ Because it hurts so good.

| I don't even think I'd try to stop the second shot, I'd just grab some popcorn, roll over and stack the pads and enjoy the show. How in the hell can anyone do that is beyond me. |
