O Canada
Our home and native land
True patriot love
In all thy sons command
With glowing hearts
We see thee rise
The true north strong and free
From far and wide
O Canada
We stand on guard for thee
God keep our land
Glorious and free
O Canada we stand on guard for thee
O Canada we stand on guard for thee. _________________ random spelling mistakes added on purpose to annoy those that are annoyed by it. |

FS:
You strike me as one of those kids who runs his mouth incessantly in the locker room, then goes out and shits the bed during games. I've coached kids like you. I've heard about kids like you from other coaches. Learn some respect, or you'll find your 'career' will end rather abruptly. |

Just a little question for you FS......Which National anthem would you like to skip???? I'm betting you would be a little pissed if they skipped the US national anthem and just sang the Canadian one. I know I would be if it were the other way around. The fact is, I am proud to be a Canadian, just like a lot of people are proud to be Americans. That's the way it should be. You should be proud of your country, especially when you are born in a country that has freedom of speech, religion and all the other stuff that gets people in other countries thrown in jail and tortured. If you don't like hearing two anthems, shut up about it. The fact is that a good many players on the ice in any NHL game are proud Canadians as well as Americans, and the teams are based in these two countries, therefore both national anthems should be sung. Anyway, keep you mouth shut and be thankful that they don't have to sing the national anthems of every player on the ice.

I have always enjoyed hearing the National Anthems at games. When in my youth our team did an over seas trip to Finland, Norway, and Sweden it was very cool.
Personally i think evey hockey game should play the Canadian as tribute for creating such a great sport |

I would like them to skip both anthems And the last part is what I though, if the play America and Canada why not every players country? They deserve as much respect as our 2 countrys. Them only playing the American or only playing the Canadian is just as bad as them not playing it for every player's country. Why don't they call it even and not sing any |
