| Well at least he was back on topic anyways. And as much as I hate to be the one to admit it, without Canada, the US wouldn't be what it is. Without the US, Canada wouldn't be what it is. Or, like Robin Williams said..."Canada is like a loft apartment above a really cool party." Throughout the history of BOTH of our countries, there have been times where we supported each other in different issues that have come up. Regardless of our polar differences (monarchy vs. democracy, socialized health care vs. capitalist health care) we still lean heavily on each other both governmental and economically. I have no problem listening to our best neighbor's national anthem as well as ours. And if it weren't for Canada, how strong would hockey be in North America? Show as much contempt as you want for their anthem, I say let it play. |

| Ah yes, but the provocative posts never die...they get brought back over and over again. "History repeats itself" anyone? |

This was hilarious. Anyway, FS, has your mind changed on this yet? _________________

I guess, I don't really care anymore. They could go either way.
But does anyone know if R2MN goes on any other boards now? He must. |

Ahh yes, good old R2MN. He is still missed by the members of goalieforum, it's just a shame that a couple people had to drive him away.
back on topic: The Canadian National anthem is pretty cool. I don't mind when they play it on top of the U.S. one. _________________

Me neither, considering he left because of something that was being passed onto me...
Anyway, that’s probably enough about old members, so let’s stay on this topic, or just stop talking on this one. _________________

I'm American and I love it when we play Canadian teams because it feels more like a real hockey game when I hear the Canadian anthem. Over half of the players in the NHL are Canadian. |
