I won't be a millionaire but we'll have money...that's for sure. I plan on building like a half rink or something in the winter since apparently your winters are longer than hell up there in Canadia...lol...to skate on and screw around with her daughters. I'll be damned if any child of mine either blood or adopted doesn't know how to skate. Why multiple custom masks? Isn't one custom mask custom enough for you?

Can I come and live in your basement? Laughing

You can never have too many custom masks Twisted Evil

I agree on the skating thing though - I plan on teaching my kids to skate as soon as they learn to walk Very Happy

My girlfriend won't let them play hockey though..not even goal. I told her it's only dangerous if you're using piss poor equipment like me, but hell...even then I still can't get enough ice time to satisfy my cravings...

And no...you can't. Something about a really hot younger woman living in our basement I'm sure my g/f would be pissed off about.

Yeah, your able to make a rink anywhere between the last week in November, until the middle of March. That’s about 5 months of free ice. It’s a pretty sweet deal. You need to wait until there’s at least a half of foot of snow on the ground, because you need to pack it down, and build up a nice couple of layers for a week. You can’t just water grass or soft snow :lol :

Our neighbours 5 houses down always build a rink in their front lawn Laughing Too bad we don't get along with them, I'd love to skate around in my front lawn.

Actually, I was thinking about building a literal rink...as in digging up the yard...pouring cement and putting up like half boards or something to keep the puck in...and obviously the water while it's freezing.

Yeah, not that my girlfriend is the jealous type...but lets tally the problems with this.

A)You're younger
B)You're very attractive
C)You love hockey more than her
D)You're a goalie too
E)You're very attractive and younger

Pretty sure my girlfriend would s**t bricks if you lived anywhere in a 30 minute radius. Laughing

Just so you know, you cannot get a job as a US citizen in Canada where the job can be easily filled by a Canadian. You can get a job if it requires someone who has a specialty such that there are not a lot of Canadians with that specialty, e.g. professor.
That means you can't apply for jobs like cashier, store clerk, gas station attendant, or any other non-college-degree-requirement job.

I do know. Which is why I'm taking a job as a sports equipment buyer for the Forzani group because it's a job that requires a Business degree which supposedly only 2% of students enrolled in college in Alberta are going for. Apparently the 2% that are enrolled in business degree programs all go into the oil industry leaving this job woefully undermanned in not only Alberta, but 2 other provinces in Canada. This is something my new boss and I looked very closely at for something around 2 1/2 months now to make sure everything was in order. I appreciate the concern though....and no, I'm not moving to Canada to be with my girlfriend, I'm not retarded. It's just a perk.
