I've often thought of getting a goalie related tat. I voted for #4, I like the fully framed blocker.
As others have already said I would also be covered in tats if I had the money. I work as a phone company field tech and it would probably be frowned on to have full sleeves but I don't care. If I get the chance ($$$) it's going to be done. |

All of them look awful. It's just a strange image to me. I can see that it's a goalie making a glove save, but it looks like too cartoony.
1. There is no paddle for the stick. You just see the shaft and taped up butt.
2. The left foot is too big in comparison to the leg pad but it is in scale with the size of the person.
3. The left leg seems to be kicking out, but in relation to the body, it's like the guy has a short thigh bone, or he's sitting back.
4. The right foot is a strange blob; it looks like the right leg is back with the right knee down, but the foot is angled weird. Is that the top of his right foot or the side of his foot where you see the toe to heel of the skate or is it the blade of the goalie stick? If it is the stick, why is it angled forward while the blocker is not angled in relation to the stick?
5. The right leg and knee look strange. You can kind of think of the bump next to the foot as a knee, but then where's the leg pad? It's kind of out of proportion depending on the goalie's left leg. It's like he has no right leg pad.
6. Once you notice the out of proportion legs, it starts appearing he has a super short torso. His torso ends at the bottom of his ribs. No lower intestines. It just connects to his pelvis.
I don't know. If you like it, go ahead. I am not belittling you. I'm just giving you a second opinion of what I see. |

Looking at the original Vaughn graphic logo, it appears your modifications do worse to filling what is assumed. It's like you aren't filling in the missing pieces right, so it starts to look odd.
I'd suggest sticking to the Vaughn logo to avoid saying things like, "Look, it's his foot! It's like... what else could it be?" |

caveman, i think its working like this
1. Its an outline, so you wouldn't see where it overlaps
2. Its part of the pad. Your pads don't cover your feet?
3. Ok, you got me on this one.
4. That would be the blade of the stick, not a foot.
5. I think its kinda kicking behind him, so all you would see is part of the pad/knee
6. proportion doesn't matter, its art. Also, when you're in a crouch, the amount of body you see is height*cos(theta), defining your axis perpindicular to his waist. aka he would look shorter than if he stood up. sorry, working on too much hw.
btw, I like the design, If I could afford to get one, I might, but I'm a poor college kid.... _________________

| I was the only one to vote for #2, but I think they're all fine. |

I've seen full on sleeves on female nurses. Just don't live in small town and be a nurse and you'll be fine. plus, that older generation is dying rapidly. |
True, but it makes getting a job first getting out of school a pain in the a$$. I'll have plenty of time when I'm older and our generation takes over. Right now, I'll start coming up with designs! |

Move to BC, nurses are in high demand. You get a job as long as you're not a heroin addict. |

Same way in Alberta, although I'm seriously starting to wonder whether heroin addiction is something you'd mention or avoid mentioning on your app here. |

In that case I'll flip a coin to see where I move to Ideally, I'd love to work as a travel nurse... spend 6-8 weeks in one city, then switch to a new one. Until I find one I want to stay permanently in. |

Like I said, what ever he likes, he can get.
It has a commercial flair to it. I would go for something like a goalie mask or a mermaid with holding a can of tuna to show my love of goaltending. |

| It was just a joke. The mermaid has nothing to do with goaltending. |

Okay. Just get a Canadiens "CH" logo and you'll be set. It doesn't matter where you are, the Montreal Canadiens are number one, always. |
