So I got to Notre Dame (the place where I'm playing) a day before yesterday and started getting my equipment ready. I didn't take any of your guys's advice (sorry) and just brought my street hockey pads (I still brought my glove and blocker though. So I went to my cousin's to practice.

........skipping along

First Game: Vigier's vs Berard's

Final Score: 13-4

Report: An uneventful game that made me look bad. I only got 19 shots and let 4 go by. They were all good scoring chances however.

Record 1-0
Save %: .789
GAA: 4

Hey, a win's a win and roller hockey games always have higher scores than ice. Not to mention the time it takes to adjust. Keep it up.

thats like the question would you rather win MVP or a Stanley Cup? the obvious answear is a Cup, but theres some people out there that care about themselves.

Game 2: Vigier's vs Semchuk's

Final Score: 3-1

Report: A much funner game then the last one. Had plenty of shots and the one that trickled between my pads I shouldn't have even got to it in the first place.

Record: 2-0

Game Save %:.968

Game GAA: 1.00

Career Save Percentage: .901

Career GAA: 2.50

As of now I need to have good numbers, not wins.

Although an NHL MVP award is like your own individual Stanley Cup, the Cup is for the best team in the league, the MVP is for the best player. Not to mention an MVP will get you some serious money.

Now, this might be contradicting my point from earlier, but that's how I think too.

Especially when it came to my team's tournaments, where we'd win every game and I'd have 10 shots all tournament... I'd rather lose every game with a high SV %, and actually having to try.

And trying to be MVP is just playing your best so it would only help you win the Cup
