You would need a half hour to change gear? Screw that, I'd do the double duty and only need a 10 minute break Wink

another thing i hate is walking with skates on. its not bad with player skates but goalie skates are flat on the bottom so its just awkward to walk in them

I don't mind it that much, I'm so used to it that I think it would feel more awkward walking in players skates. I hate having to walk across cement or something with skates on though Mad Our arenas have finally upgraded to have actual girls rooms, but we used to have to get changed in the janitorial rooms, and tip toe across the concrete floors to be with the team... and although we tried wearing hockey socks, skate guards.. they always ripped and we went through tons for the season.

I could only imagine the horror my skates were experiencing Sad

I hate when I get dressed earlier than I think, and when I get on the ice, my skates are loose. Mad

thats terrible. not so bad seeing as goalie skates are usually dull any how, but some of the other skaters must have spent a fortune on sharpenings

that too and you cant tighten them unless you take your leg pads off.

Yeah, except I never liked mine as dull as they got... I prefer mine on the sharper side.
