Just picked up a Price auto pic:

Still obtaining autos on this but then it will be framed.

Hawks WC jersey signed by 19 past and present players. I obtained all but Savard at the 2nd Hawks Convention (Savvy was at a local signing).

Photos of me with Andrew Ladd, Lou Angotti and Huet. (I still have to photoshop out the proof marks and get them printed/framed with the pass).

To go along with this from the first Hawks Convention I posted earlier.

Its a fun weekend... middle of the summer, just off the lake in Chicago surrounded by hockey with your friends and able to drink is pretty unbeatable.

Some players handle it better than others, the old timers sit around and share their stories for hours, the youngsters are pretty swamped to they are in and out.

If we go next year we already decided to skip any autographs and do every activity possible.

Never was a collector or much into the memorabilia thing but I do have Tony Esposito's autograph on his Northland goal stick which he used in a game. Pretty neat.

Espo has become like my unicorn ... I end up in the wrong spot at the wrong time to meet up with him. Needless to say Im jealous on that one.

Of all the old Hawks he is the only one left I am really dying to meet. Current Hawks top priorities would be Hossa, Kane (which will be hard because Im not 12 or a female), Seabs, Keith, Madden and Hjalmarsson.

I was excited to hear Hjalmars 'One Goal' commercial was going to be at IKEA (I work as a Customer Service Manager for IKEA in Chicagoland), but then was pissed to find out he was shooting at the San Jose store while on the road.

I somehow have managed Toews 3 times as an interesting note.

At the time, I was just a kid - 15 or 16 - and I've had the pleasure of meeting him a few times since he "retired". Very nice man then and a very nice man now. Coolest thing about his equipment was his mask. If you ever get the chance, look at its inside: flecks of dried blood every where.

I work in the Loop. If you come down for the Convention or something else, give me a headsup. Lunch is on me.
