Dude, I know these things. I’ve made a forum, and I have tried to find some post editing settings, there not there. Trust me, this is what I do. But you can ask the admin about it if you want, this particular forum is quite different from others, but it will most likely be a no go.
Every computer as an IP address. Once that address is banned, you can no longer access the desired site from that computer. But you can go to someone else’s house, use their computer and go on, or you could, buy a new computer. IP address ban can be easily bypassed. But a username bypass is very complicated and takes ALOT of work but I’m not even going to touch up on that, because A) It would give some idea to banned members and B) Most likely nobody would understand on this forum. |
The ip issue not that big a deal 961. With a cable modem or other like DSL your initially assigned a "static" ip. now on a pc it is very to use the Release Ip command when communicating with modem and receive a new one. this is done often as many folks who get new service find themselves banned from sites they have never had issue with because an Admin banned a block of IP address.
Another way to receive a new "static" ip is depower your modem for no less than 24 hrs. when the server from your provider is registering no activity on an IP it will reassign that ip automatically.
Yet another way, and a smart way is to surf through a ghost service where your true ip, is never made avail.
Bans are like locks on a house...they keep out the mostly honest people. |

My team is the Road Rage Warriors
I make on average, 50 cents a game, unless we're playing a really crappy team. Then I have time to check my crease for more loose change.
My sponser is the locally owned RVK... it's a knock-off of RBK... but better _________________
