ya know what. i used to love McD's then they went and changed the fry oil and fries becasue some vegan freaks did not like that there was beef flavor in both...after taht change the fries went to pot. now with the no trans fat oil they got worse.
the burgeres that are "reconstituted" and no longer grilled taste like hell.
Im not a mcd;s fan anymore at all.
when there are no other choices we will stop....and yea Im the guy who sits at the window to make sure they did not forget half the food, napkins, sauces and drinks...seriously how hard is to pay enough attention to detail to make sure folks get their orders...
fast food..is more like the food we forget to put in your bag.

I will agree with pretty much each of the above posts to an extent, the taste is not what it was and apparently it is in their training videos to purposely leave something out of every third order.

McD's has def. taken a turn for the worse, but in the end, when you have a tournament weekend there are not a lot of places you can go and get a dozen burgers or chicken sandwiches to feed a group of guys for like $14

I'm going to chime in, but I promised myself it wouldn't be an FS-style post (McDonald's sucks, girls shouldn't eat at McDonald's, everyone that works there is gay, etc.) Laughing

Apart from the quality of the food, I stopped eating there (unless its for a midnight craving) when I realized that for the amount of money I paid I could pretty much eat better food and satisfy my hunger better than I could at McDonald's.

That's why I have to disagree with you in terms of the $14 thing HG, just because the 'budget burgers' are so small that personally my stomach would be growling halfway home. If you have guys/girls that have average appetites than obviously that would work out well for you.

Of course you have to keep in mind that this is written with McDonald's in Turkey in mind, where I have the pleasure of paying around 12 TL (around $10 US) for the biggest burger upgraded to the biggest size. So the only time I might go is when they have a 2 for the price of 1 promotion.

Burger King is better than Mcds. but Mcds is cheaper so its hard to pick which one to eat at. I have Little Ceasers Pizza yesterday.

what I dont get is a double cheeseburger which has 1/5 of a pound of beef on it is $1. But a quarter pounder (which obviously has 1/4 pound of beef) is $2.55. which means 2 doubles cost less and you get more meat.

Nasty stuff right there. Is it worth it? Getting like 30 minutes off your life every time you eat there. And then spending those 30 mintues in the bathroom. Thats 1 hour right there. Not worth it.

I don't know why, but that made me cringe.

If we weren't supposed to eat animals, then why are they made out of meat?

I like McD's well enough... when I was younger I'd easily drop $20 there for lunch though... I ate alot...

now, $5 for a little caesars pepperoni pizza, typically faster service than McD's. Can't beat that. (plus Pizza pwns all.)
