McDonalds (in Canada only i think) is selling the mini hockey sticks again this year, but this time it's all Goalies - and it starts tomorrow (Jan 29th 2008)
I can't personally remember who they have, so i got this list from a different site (couldn't find anything about it on the McDonalds Canada site)

Week 1: Brodeur/Fleury

Week 2: Toskala/Huet

Week 3: Luongo/Some other guy

I think they're under $3 each - and not sure if you need to purchase a small amount of tasty tasty death to get one or not.

I'm aiming to get all 6 - possibly 2 of each so i can have a set at home and at work.... Pretty sure they come in the collector/display tin thing again this year as well (i missed last years, but only one goalie last year (kipper's i think.))

EDIT: possible that the missing goalie is Emery.... but don't quote me on any of them as i'm getting the names from other websites.

Can't guarantee it's only in Canada - but that's my assumption.

Only if you're not Canadian, and a hockey fan. I bet i miss out on all the cool McDonalds/NFL promotions... (but that's okay, CFL football pwns. Well, maybe not pwns, but at least our balls are bigger....)

Got my 2 Brodeurs and 2 Fleurys today...

the red cans they come in fit in well with my desk at home, and the full set will look nice when i go back to work .... better than having pictures of floorplans or renderings and crap like the rest of my coworkers.

Anyone in Canada seen that commercial advertising these mini sticks? It's probably the best McDonald's commercial in a long-time... That doesn't say much... but hey... check it out...

I guess I can add this to the list of

"things i'm missing out on because I live in the USA"

Sad I want a brodeur mini-stick so I can hang it from my rear-view mirror

Chicago isn't that far... Take a weekend trip up here to pick one up and see the sites... Just make sure they're offering the Brodeur stick that weekend or else it'd be a waste of time.

Seeing you're from Chicago... is it true that Blackhawks games aren't televised locally? I heard that one time on a sports radio station around here and thought that was pretty dumb if it's true.
