As part of a four-year agreement, all 60 teams and their players from the Western Hockey League, Ontario Hockey League and Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, along with the new RBK Edge jerseys will be featured.
The CHL will also be tied into the various NHL 11 game modes like Be A Pro, Be A GM and tournament/season/playoff mode where users will be able to play the MasterCard Memorial Cup with the junior team of their choice.
According to associate producer Andy Agostini, in Be A Pro mode gamers will begin as a member of a CHL team playing in the Memorial Cup, the better one plays, the better their NHL draft rank.
Unlike in video games featuring NCAA sports where player names are made up due to the amateur status of the athletes, the CHL's inclusion of player names in NHL 11 is to help bring greater awareness to junior hockey according to WHL commissioner Ron Robison.
