Stay on track with the drumming talk and I don't care other than that. Please don't post things a 9 year old would say in attempts to be funny because it will be deleted because it isn't funny and it's really stupid.

I have been a drummer since I was 11 years old. I have played in concert band, jazz band, rock bands, country bands, etc. Over time, I have had five drum sets and am looking to get another one right now. My influences playing when I was younger were Neil Peart of Rush, Steve Smith of Journey,
Chester Thompson of Genesis. Now, I really like Carter Beauford of Dave Matthews Band and of course, Neil Peart is still awesome!! Have played Tama, Yamaha, Ludwig sets. Will probably get another Yamaha.

Hockey season is back and I remembered Goalie forum. I suppose my return post shall be on something I hold very near and dear: Drumming. I play in a black metal band, funk rock experimental band *(its a wierd thing but fun), and old school influenced deathmetal band.

This is my new Tama. I love it and play tama shells and hardware exclusivly becuase I love the sound, quality, and durability of their products. Ive played on everything from Yamaha, pearl, DW, Pdp, ludwig, Premiere, Grestch to whatever and I can say without a doubt tama is the way to go for me.

this is a rather bad picture my friend snapped of me at practice (dont be too harsh, kids! haha)

This is my old pearl. It wasn't bad by any means, but it didnt blow me away like the Tama did

me playing the pearl

Got a call back on my kit. I'm gonna get it this weekend, hopefully. $120, used (obviuosly) with one broken drum head, but he said he'll get it fixed.

But with a Pearl snare drum. Then I'm saving to add a ride. Then we'll play it by ear. I have a friend whos in a little kick-around band, and they don't have a drummer, so I'll probably at least have somewhere to go.
