Oh but it's so much fun deleting 500 messages a day. My question is where the hell is it coming from all of the sudden. We didn't have this problem a month ago.

And where the hell are monty and cman? I haven't seen them on lately.

Hell, if the admin were around I'd be begging him to let me be a mod strictly to delete the spam. It's really annoying.

Cman is on every night people. Seems like all I've been doing lately is deleting spam from playgirl. Sucks that we can't get in touch with the admin. I would like to have that IP address and username banned along with a few others.

Just haven't seen you post anything...then again if you're anything like me you spend 30 minutes deleting the 15 spam messages then you're too fed up to actually read and respond to other threads. This is getting outta hand.

I log on 5-6 times a day and delete anywhere between 3-10 spam posts. Then I usually just log back off and do what Cman does. It's getting old.

The spam from what I have seen is only in the first section of the forum (the review section) ... I know it is a s**ty patch but what if we just created a new sub-forum physically above that one on the board and labeled it spam... then in theory all these spam messages would generate into that forum and you wouldnt have to touch it, just leave it... its a spam sub-forum.

It's a good theory but my only issue is that now people who search the titles of the spam will be directed here. Crap like WWII books, World of Warcraft and the likes will be directed to some goalie forum. On top of that having 3 or 4 spam posts of the same lame thing per night won't stop just because the spam is gone. That can't be good for the sites memory usage on a server or loading for less then optimal connections like mine.

The reason i have'nt been on lately is because i've been busy moving. This is the first time that i've had the chance to be on. Ill get right to deleting spam. I have'nt seen any tonight, so that tells me that CMan and Arth are doing a great job in cleaning up. For anyone who is'nt cutting them any slack: Cut 'em some slack, they're doing fine!
