I don't know exactly, I'm assuming it will be moderately hard.
I mean, it's Chicago, their team sucks so there's not many fans.
I guarantee 60% of the people there will be wings fans or people who just wanted to see a game.
That being said, it'd still be hard.

I looked into season tickets simply to ensure tickets to this game and a couple others I was looking at.
Cheapest seat package is looking like $660 per seat (plus any parking fees). Prices include tax so for the two seats I would want it would run $1,320 for the season.
I tossed the idea to my wife and she didn't respond which either means she hated the idea so much that she is pissed, or she liked it so much she bought it.
The Hawks released 2 other options of partial season tickets, but they don't provide for a ticket to the Winter Classic.
My wife seems to think we will end up with tickets to the game simply because we will try hard, which is true, but we dont have the option to sleep outside for a couple of days like I am sure people will if any sort of a raffle comes from it.
There are only 42,000 tickets, subtract the number of season ticket holders for Detroit and Chicago at the time they are released, and the number of holds each team has on them for new ticket holders, and the number the league has on hold it is looking doubtful, especially when you think Buffalo vs Pittsburgh sold out the 71,000+ game they had.
Interesting note, since the NHL is in charge of the Winter Classic you have to pay extra for those tickets on top of your season tickets... so in effect, you are paying for season tickets, but getting 1 fewer game than normal that you have to re-buy from the league.

well on stub hub they are selling for 500 dollars right now
