mav, you look very good in net. good speed. and excellent challenging and awareness, making yourself look and play big.

you look extremely mechanical. i'd suggest (if you have the free time) looking at some replays of kari lehtonen from early this last season, and then looking at some of him in the last half of the season. he really improves on his improvisation and creativity... if you applied some of the same things to your game, i think you'd be really really pleased with the results.

also, are you a natural lefty? or are you a righty playing full right?

Women's league clips:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LZs_kWjcrA

One hour of nonstop playing... and this is about all the decent shots I got.. including the 2 goals that I should've had.

Didn't include the end of the ice time where they put 9 players on the other team against me and one defender Laughing Let's say it involved a lot of diving around, and they eventually scored.

first VH looked hesitant, and yeah your butterfly slides need work, but so do mine so I'm one to talk. Razz

You looked like you were flopping around a lot more than you should at the 5 minute mark.

Second VH (at around 5:39) probably because the player is going around the net, but your leg should be tight to the post and have that glove up on top - not wedged between the post and your pad.

lesson learned at 5:56... never just leap out at the puck and lose sight of it Wink

It's probably easier to keep track of the puck behind the net and be quicker if you're in your stance, as opposed to standing straight up. You lost sight of it at one point and it coulda screwed you over if the player had tried for a quick wraparound.

Your skating looks much more natural now than ever before. Especially your shuffles have really improved, along with the T-pushes.

Shot at 7:18 - dropped down wayy too early! You got lucky your Dman was there to break up an attempted deke to your blocker side.

Your butterflies look a lot more natural too, whereas at first you looked kinda awkward.

Overall good job Itech Very Happy

Well the biggest problem with flopping and movement on this one, I had BRAND NEW cowlings and blades. Remember how screwed my old ones were?

Well these ones had a plastic overdrive piece sticking out, and I couldn't get in my regular stance. I need to grind them down and put my overdrive blades back on (it's amazing how much you miss something when you're use to it).

The 7:18 I did drop down early but he had NO where to go as he came in too tight, he wouldn't have made it across to the blocker side. He head faked one way, and I just dropped cause I knew he wouldn't get it short side. But I get your meaning. I shouldn't have gone down that early. I may have thought he was about to go backhand on one of his stick handles.

I haven't been to goalie clinic in a while, and after watching this, I HAVE GO BACK. I look like crap.

On that note, I've NEVER been to a goalie, well, anything! I need to figure out how to do that in Las Vegas, the city known for it's heat! Maybe it'll teach me how to slide better, haha.

looks pretty damn good to me. but those are obviously cut from all your saves of a game, how about the goals against. if you want real advise (ie: the bad) we need to see real footage. you're saves look better than mine though.
