My number is 44. It's for my birthday. I was born on Feb. 13th, which is the 44th day of the year.

Mine is #00, you say it 'double zero' not ''oh oh" or "zero zero" like some anouncers say Rolling Eyes

I like to say it stands for my GAA, but alot of people think they're comedians and start saying somethin like "or your save %" or "how many friends you have" among others Rolling Eyes

Depends on wether I play as a player or a goalie.

As a goalie I'm the kind of guy to grab the #1 shirt just cuz.

But As a player i'm kinda supersticious.

I need either #21 or #22

#21 was paul ysebaert's number of the 94 Red Wings team. I played nhl 95 lots and the player in the game totally ruled.

But my favorite number is #22 because it was Claude Lemieux's number. I was a total fan of Lemieux's style of play.

there ya go

Wow a Red Wings fan from the mid 90's... who likes Claude Lemieux... Confused

As for the jersey... yeah as a goalie I'd take #1... good ol' Kirk Mclean's #... and Luongo's #....

My main number until highschool was #6. I had it for countless years in both hockey and baseball. Kinda became superstitious with it because I always had it.
Once high-school came though, I ended up with #26 for JV my frreshman and sophomore year, then changed to #24 my junior year since we didnt have a #26 Varsity jersey, and I just stuck with #24. Now that has become my superstitious number for the most part.

My number is 8. Stands for luck and prosperity in many parts of East Asia, and turn it sideways and you have infinity (the concept, not the car) like if I'm stacking the pads

Would love to have pi, but most teams won't allow 3 numbers with a decimal point (and yes, I know it's more than 3 numbers... figured I'd say that before someone decided to be a smartass....)

I'd consider 12 (my wifes birthday is dec 12. 13 was my basketball number (no digits over 5 so the refs could show who fouled with their fingers to the scorers table.)

24 is good for me (case of beer)
42 (the answer to life, the universe, and everything)

and if they let me, i'd put the 8 sideways on my jersey to actually have it as infinity. (again the concept, not the car)

11, because vertical stripes are slimming
1, see above, although less effective
73, year I was born
0, looks like an O, for Otter

can you tell i don't actually play on any teams right now... although i think i do need to pick one, cuz I'll likely be playing summer hockey soon... any suggestions??? (cuz I'm gonna need to pick one and stick with it, especially if i get my custom painted mask next year)

I like #1. Because my dad's birth year was '55, minus my brothers age which is 16, plus my nieces age which is 6, then divide my 2 baby cousins ages combined which is 5, then add my moms age which is 48, then minus my best friends little sisters age which is 7, then divide by 50, which comes out to 1. Thats why I chose #1
