ON the topic though, I just switched my number after 12 years in net. I went from 21 to 31. It took forever to figure that out because I like 35 but that's my best friend's number and seems over used. I like 33 but I didn't want people to associate it with a fanboyish love for Roy...and nobody remembers Brian Boucher for some reason. I have worn (see alumni tournament picture as sig) number 1 but it just seems like a pretentious number to me, kinda like, "Look at me! I'm #1" ya know? 21 is a forwards number and they always seem to have priority over the goalies. So I went with 31. It's not really common, but it's not truly unique...it's kinda one that just slips through the cracks and I like that. |
CuJo and Fuhr both wore that number.

I like 35, but its never goalie sized, so it either really tight, or #30 for me

I like either #30 because I've always been stuck with it, #60 because Theodore is my favorite player. I also like #38 just because I think it looks cool

Only because that son of a ***** forever ruined the goaltending in Colorado. He's like a goal killer...Montreal, Colorado and thank f*cking god Washington found Varlamov.
Anyways, CuJo was good once. And Fuhr...well I certainly don't mind someone thinking I'm a fan of either. It just worked out though that I kept the "1" in my number while making it more goalie friendly. Most people laugh when I say I'm "21" since it's always just been a players jersey. |

I usually take #31 for Carey Price but I would like to wear #60 for Jose Theodore (who is my favrite goalie) but the league I play for only have #1 and #31 for goalies so I go for Price's number

I like #12.....
I have worn this # as good luck cuz it was my girlfriends initals (: now my wifes guess it worked
If i didnt wear #12 it would be #1 or #33

No idea what goalie numbers are supposed to be, but I enjoy wearing the number 47. I'm ninety nine percent sure that is a player number, but it's on mine, so who cares, right? Haha.

| I wear #31. I was originally 98 because my first year playing i didnt know what number to wear so I chose my cousin. Then the year after I went to my other cousins number who is a goalie. |
