magic eraser is an abrasive, I would not do it at all it will eat your pads, in time.
wipe them down after playing and if you use one of those microfiber rag like car scrubbers they work great, the make "Clothes" out of the polyester as well, microfiber and dont damage your pads

R2MN I've never used a magic eraser but I can say that I had no luck with using my microfiber cloths to clean puck marks. Not saying it didn't work, but it only was effective on some puck marks.

Maybe some other members can chime in about this?

goalieboy had sent me a pm a while back when I asked him, I think he mostly used hot water and something else...

Here's the pm he had sent me:

Uhmm, I think my dad used a steal wool scrubber. Goo gone would also work. What worked for us was to have a tub of hot soapy water and a rag. Put the rag in and then set it on the pads, and then let it soak for a few minutes, then rub off. Nice pads by the way!
