|
After not playing goalie for over 30 years I'm getting back in the net and love it!! However, I'm having trouble transitioning from my old stand up to the butterfly style. Fortunately I'm still very flexible from years of martial arts training and was able to get into a descent butterfly after getting the proper pads.
What I'm trying to figure out is how to make the proper "transition turn" after making a butterfly save. When I try to rotate I don't seem to get all the way to the angle I want and can't seem to figure out why. I also sometimes feel stuck after making the save and can't get the turn at all. I would appreciate anyone who has any suggestions or tips on making the turn.
Thanks in advance. |

Clarification
This is what I am trying to achieve from my above message.
I'm going to work more on doing this slowly to get the move correct, but any tips would still be helpful.
