If they're sliding it in then it's on the ice....right? That's where the stick position that Itech was talking about comes in handy. Stick on the ice covering that area of the five hole and at least they'll have to work at lifting the puck a little and you won't have anymore of those easy slide ins.

| Yeah I'm pretty sure I'm cheating and moving it over just enough for them to slide it through. But I have my first game tonight and I'm gonna try to get my sister to film it. Not that I want them to score - but it'd be nice to see exactly where I'm going wrong. |

They don't have to score for you to see what you're doing wrong. They'll probably just not hit that spot!  |
