I'm curious if any other Roller goalies have issues with their toe tie and boot strap (both which usually get tied into your skates) getting ripped apart due to sliding. I just order new pads and skates, both very good quality (i kno most ppl say buy used/crap gear for roller) but I wanted to buy some quality stuff this time around and I want to know the best way to protect my gear. I'm worried about those two getting ripped my first night using them just from simply sliding on my skates. Any correct methods and/or mods to prevent this.
