Too lazy to eat right???? Every grocery store has ready made salads. All you have to do is put some dressing on it. No preparation at all....and it's good for you.
If that doesn't suit you, grab a bunch of veggies and chuck them in a blender. Viola....a vegetable smoothie. _________________

usually a good dinner about 2 hours before the game, then a couple bananas right before i leave and some granola bars on my way to the rink, then a granola bar or two between games.
i can't stand energy drinks, taste disgusting, and caffeine doesn't affect me. I'll make a pot of coffee at 9pm drink it by 10pm and be asleep by 10:15pm. I tried the 5 hour energy drinks once, those didn't do a damn thing either. I had a bunch of housework to do, so I tried one, within half an hour i was ready to take a nap, tried another and 30 minutes later, i was napping. _________________ Because it hurts so good.

Okay when I first posted about the university students I was just using an example! I don't start UV until September, and I'm cool with preparing my own food |

That was an interesting debate I started... accidentally
Anyways, I don't have the luxury because I play hockey in the mornings and I usually wake up about 15 minutes before I play...5 minutes to get dressed and a 10 minute drive to the rink...they don't serve veggies at the rink and besides...who the f**k would want to eat a plate of pasta and veggies or a salad for breakfast? I usually grab a granola bar and a vitamin water and hit the locker room. What I meant by not having the luxury is unlike most if not all of you, I play in the mornings and not at night/during the weekends so I don't have the whole day to eat properly before I go out and play. I still do good considering...if only R2MN would actually come to a drop in to let me know what I'm doing right and what I need to work on...C'MON JOHN!
Oh, speaking of which..cute picture in the Tamo lobby... |

I think I read somewhere that Lundqvist downs a Red Bull before games, so if you do, prepare to have a terrible high glove.

| I would recommend that you get used to not drinking Red Bull or any other energy drink as a pre-game routine. It doesn't appear to affect your current game but don't let it become a crutch, mentally or physically. |
