the starting goalie broke his leg, the backup got a groin pull now im being called up i havent been in action on ice in a while any advice on how to steal their jobs before playoff time? _________________

| Depends on whether or not you've stayed at least moving since the last time you played. If you've had NO ice time and you're coming in completely unconditioned and cold, I'm going to say the odds of you taking their spot is pretty slim to none. If you have stayed current then the best thing to do is build up your physical conditioning and work on the basics that everyone needs. Beyond basics it's case to case as how good or bad someone is. |

| I'm with Arth on this one. If you've done nothing whatsoever, then you can pretty much count yourself out. If you've been keeping up with decent conditioning, try to find some ice time fast. Any level. |
