Well my league is over now. the guys pulled their game together at just the right time...lol. We were the last place team, our first playoff game was against the 3rd, then we played the 1st place team and tonight we played and beat the 2nd place team for the league championship. I managed a shutout, only had to deal with 2 break aways and one 3 on 1. The rest were all mostly shots from out side the slot. A few scrambles and one hairy moment, but nothing got by...well except one goal that got called back, because one of their guys ran me before the shot and knocked the net off when he hit the post...it was strange, a good end to a fun season with a group that pulled it out at the end when it counted most.
no summer hockey for me this year, Im burned out. Im going to hit a few dropins and work with a few kids but thats about it, the less time I spend in the rink the better right now. I am going to focus more on the kids, some good home chores, getting the family out camping, going turkey hunting in few weeks and get after it hopefully harder than in the past...well...hard to do as I hope to take both of the kids, as well and my nephews. Not to mention some peaceful fishing.

| Yeah he does, I can't for the life of me remember his name, I just know he's a decent skater but doesn't take too many shots...and he's always apologizing when a goal gets past me even if he had nothing to do with the play. Good man. |
