Oh great, even more things to be happy about Confused .

Its probably a good thing that i'm not a pure butterfly goalie though, however whenever I walk anywhere my knees click and then when I walk up stairs sometimes it feels like my legs are really heavy.

Feeling like your legs are really heavy could be more as a result of your latest mood rather than hockey...

But my knees have started acting up. I work at a grocery store, and I got a cashier shift the other day. 2 hours of standing up and not really walking anywhere and my knees were so stiff I could hardly bend them. Then 15 minute break, and another 2 hours of standing...

I think it may be slightly because of being a catcher in baseball, and I didn't have the knee savers for the first 5 years so I could've screwed them up then.

When I bend down to my knees they click, loudly.

I don't really think there is anymore of "pure butterfly" goalies. The game has changed so much that you almost HAVE to be a hybrid style goaltender to survive.

Nah are you kidding me? I spend half the game on my knees... Laughing

No but seriously, I go down a lot more than I should. But yet, I've improved drastically since 2 years ago when I dropped for every shot.

Laughing Thanks itech, but I don't need anybody coming to my defense. I can handle all the males on here Wink

I just seem to have a knack for saying something that's 100% true and having it sound dirty. Smile

Close the the end of my season i began to develop a pain on the inside of my right knee...

I have gone to get it check a couple times with no positive tests...

Im getting very frusterated....there are times i have no problems....

other times like when i step to the side or something that may cause a slight rotation in my knee, it will give out with alot of pain......when I straighten it there are alot of pops and snaps....

running is out of the question......

Now im doing P90X training to try to develop some strengh in that knee again......(I hope it works!!)

This artical has been very helpful.....tks guys..... Wink
