| Hello everyone...I'm interested in taking up some street hockey, just with my friends. I'm looking for some videos that can teach goaltending techniques for non-ice surfaces. I can't imagine myself attempting a butterfly slide on the road unless I want to keel over and do a sideways face plant so I'd like to find some resources that will address street hockey technique. I was scanning the big goalie video thread but maybe I missed any relevant posts. |

You can do about anything in the road hockey game you can do on ice, and the fundamentals are all the same.

| Oh really? Even butterfly slides? I assumed that you couldn't slide on asphalt, at best, only sliding on indoor flooring (ex. gymnasiums). |
