Of course you cant skate, your a goalie arent you? Laughing (that is based off the misconception little league coaches have because some of them put their worst skaters as goalie)

i was wondering what skating drills i shud focus on. not crossovers obviously, backwards maybe? im not the greatest at stopping i can only do my left side stop well, my right i simply cannot do, this burns me when i handle the puck i have to skate to the right side to handle it and im facing the wrong direction i want

Hmmm, all I can tell you is make sure you really dig your skate into the ice. You could try skating the lines ( the drill that's featured in Miracle, I've also heard it referred to as a suicide), making sure you stop on opposite foot alternatively.

Practice, Practice, Practice! Drop all the equipment and go out and SKATE. That's the best way to improve on skating!

Look, I can't really help you skate because I've never been on real ice in an organized game. I'm poor.

But is the bottom picture in your signature you?

That's the goalie from the Amstel Light commercial, but he says that's him. I'm not really sure who (if anyone) believes him.

You just need a little practice. IMO the term "goalies should be the best skaters on the team" is a dumb statement. Yes they need to be good, but not the fastest, just the most maneuverable.
