so last night i played in my first game and it was AWESOME! i loved it! the best part was that we beat the best team in our division 2-1 and i made 39 saves! and the goal that i let in, i saved the initial shot but i couldn't recover the rebound and i was screened. the funny part was that my team didn't know it was my first game until after we had won. 
just thought i would share my experience with my fellow goalies

ice? please say yes, we have to many inlines
and, OMG, i wish i did that good in my first game, i let in 7 goals

my first game the told me just to show up and they would have pads and they didnt   we still won |

Sounds awesome man! My first game we won like 3-2 or something, it was outdoor inline. I miss that league. I didn't make nearly that many saves though, that's a great game for anyone, let alone a beginner.

yes it was an ice game lol. my only big problem was that i was slow to get up, but that just cuz im way out of shape lol. its cool tho cuz i have 5 weeks to get in shape before the next season starts. i was just filling in for the regular goalie in that game.
