Ditto that!

I actually asked a goalie we played against last year if she wanted to trade nets Laughing

Facing shots, sure...I had a lot of great saves but when you're facing 30+shots with no defense and a lot of 3rd and 4th shots, you get tired real quick.

Anyways, I waited until tonight to post about todays games...which...shockingly had the same result as the first game. We lost this morning 12-0 and tonight 15-4 even though I was only in net for 9 of those goals for the second game. Everyone said I played well but without defense and no time out of our zone, I was doomed and basically shut down after the fourth goal.

Now, on to tonight's game since it was by far the most interesting. We scored the first and second goal and went into the third 5-2. We kinda collapsed and had some iffy goals. 4 minutes into the third something I'm not exactly sure about happened at the other end and a fight broke out. The other goalie skated out and started punching one of my skaters, so I skated clear across the rink and started wailing on their goalie. Well, we both got tossed and they spent 20 minutes trying to figure out how to play with no goalies. There was no hard feelings between me and the other goalie...and I thought it was fun as hell.

Figured I'd throw the pictures of the fight up since it was humorous...

This is me skating down after I saw their goalie come out.

This is me getting pulled off of their goalie.

This is two of their guys and a ref trying to get me off the other goalie.

This was the "no hard feelings" tap after the fight while the refs were still trying to figure out what to do

And this is me and the other goalie exiting the rink after our game misconducts

This was just an Alumni Tournament and I don't think the refs knew exactly what rules they were supposed to be following. A suspension after the game would've meant nothing for me but hell for the other goalie because it was our last game of the weekend but the other team had a championship game the next day.

Laughing from my personal experience, the refs never know what rules they're supposed to be following. but most leagues fighting is an automatic game suspsension, and then depending on the league the punishments are dealt from there. some have no games after, some have banned for the season.

What kind of helmet are you using? Loooks like an Itech 1200/1400/2500?

the itech of course, since there seems to be so much hating going around on the internet regarding any itech mask that isn't a 960/961.

It's justified. I took a deflection the other day that hit me just above the cage and knocked me out. I thought I just blinked and fell backwards but they said I was laying there a minute or two before I came to again. It truly is a dangerous mask if you're playing anything other than slo-puck.

I can't agree or disagree yet. I don't have my Razor right now. Should be here in a couple weeks though.
