Hey everyone!
I havent looked into this forum for quite a long time, but its because I wasnt able to play hockey for a year now.
I broke two vertebrae in a game, and spent quite a long time in a hospital.
But now, I wanna start again. I just cant without. Even now when my career is over (I made it up to Minor Pro as a Backup-ish Goalie), I wanna come back into the net.
I got 2 very important questions for you guys:
First: I have never been injured for longer than a month, and I have no idea how it does feel going back on the ice, is it hard? I mean, does it still feel quite familiar, or should I expect to start with the basics again?
And the second, and most important question for me is: Has anyone ever had such a horrible injury like I did? Doesnt matter if it was while playing hockey. Im just curious..does it affect your playstyle? Are you afraid in some similar situations like the one you got injured? And if you had this feelings, how did you overcome them?`
