The first thing is to learn how to skate at least decently. As a ball hockey goalie you probably already know about angles and stuff, so get the skating down then go from there.

Any specific skating you would work on? Stopping is something id like to get down before moving on. Any tips?

well, stopping as a goalie is differnt than stopping as a forward. they are all in tight movements. of course, you probably already knew that. o yeah, get goalie skates Wink

Play as a skater as both a forward and defensemen, before you become a goalie.

See thats what I was thinking. Maybe not the forward part but the D sounds good. I also figure I should at least know how to stop like a player before doing anything. Any tips on hard stopping?
